Nateur has over 800 hours of training as a clinical massage therapist. He incorporates stretching, myofascial release, deep tissue, and intentional breathwork to create a practice that encompases a full range of modalities that causes the body to fully integrate a deepening and awakening. Nateur’s combination of techniques has been well received by many who find his work to have long lasting effects.

Nateur’s objective is to allow the physical discomforts caused by our movement focused culture to melt away and give his clients much needed ease. This is achieved by combining adhesion removal, joint manipulation, and jostling (subtle vibration) of the body with softer strokes to allow the body to integrate and heal.

Although Nateur is capable of administering high levels of pressure, he utilizes a pain safety scale with his clients so as to not activate the sympathetic autonomic response. By establishing a point of comfort with his clients through use of the pain safety scale, Nature is able to bring the client’s body to a level of homeostatic comfort, allowing oxytocin to be released during the massage session.

Sound healing and/or energy can be integrated into a massage session as an upgrade.

What is a clinical massage?

A spa massage therapist and a clinical massage therapist can, and do, practice all types of modalities in both industries. The ultimate difference is the focus. In spa massage, the therapist is ultimately focused on the satisfaction of the client.

In clinical massage, the ultimate focus is on functional outcomes.
